Ford withdrew from the EV sector due to financial losses. Its decision is the tip of an iceberg that exists across much of the fossil fuel car industry. The end of the $7,500 federal tax credit created a greater challenge. EVs were supposed to cut the world’s greenhouse gas emissions. Outside China, it appears things are going the other direction.
