World’s Two Biggest Oil Companies Made $30 Billion
Exxon and Mobil will, together, make slightly more than $29 billion in the third quarter of this year. That could be a record. There are two issues. Will the government want to tax part of that because it is tied to oil prices? Will both companies cut back oil exploration because they are making so much on current inventory and what they have for refineries? A cut in exploration means higher prices in the future.
