Anthropic Plant Burns Same As 1.3 Million Cars

There has been some hope that AI data centers would use green energy. It doesn’t look that way. AI leader Anthropic has bought a gas-powered facility that will create enough CO2 to match 1.3 million gas-powered cars a year.
