26 Americans Killed By Tornados This Year

Tornado season ends this month. So far, there are 734 of these storms. There are probably many more, because meteorologists often confirm them after the fact. What is known for certain is that these storms have killed 26 people. Most tornadoes occur in the traditional Tornado Alley, but they are spreading east into what is called Dixie Alley. That means the risk to life and property is moving.
