As Wildfires Drive Out 300,000 Europeans Have No Place To Go

They are called climate refugees. People are forced from their homes by natural disasters, which include storms, hurricanes, and fires. In Los Angeles, after wildfires in January 2025, thousands of people whose homes were destroyed still cannot go back. And many did not have fire insurance, so their financial lives have been ruined. In Europe, wildfires have been much larger than those in LA. And, because there have been no wildfires in these areas before, the chance these people have fire insurance is very low. Where will these people go after the fires are gone? There is no good answer to that question.
