Global EV Sales Surge Paced By China, US Trouble
Douglas McIntyre, Editor-in-Chief at Climate Crisis 24/7, reports on the surge in global electric vehicle sales, which are expected to reach 25% of all car sales worldwide in 2025. Citing the World Economic Forum, he highlights that while EV sales will hit around 20 million globally, growth is driven almost entirely by China and emerging markets in Asia and Latin America. McIntyre notes that EV sales in the U.S. and Europe may stagnate or decline, underscoring uneven growth in the EV market.
