In the US, oil prices are driving up the cost of gas and heating oil. In parts of Asia, particularly the Philippines and South Korea, the governments are pushing people to stop driving completely. These nations rely almost totally on oil from the Middle East. Riding bicycles is one partial solution in South Korea.
