The Drop In EV Sales Was Worse Than Expected

It appeared that EV sales as a percent of new car sales might drop to 7% in the first quarter. In the third quarter of last year, they were closer to 11% as people rushed to get the $7,500 tax credit. It turns out that 7% was at least two percentage points too high.
