Used Tesla Prices Plummet as Affordability and Margins Tighten
Douglas McIntyre, Editor-in-Chief at Climate Crisis 24/7, reports that the price of a used Tesla Model S dropped by $10,000 year-over-year in March, according to iSeeCars. The trend extends across other Tesla models as well. McIntyre notes that while lower used prices might attract buyers, Tesla’s margins are under pressure, making further price cuts difficult. Elon Musk’s failure to release a promised $25,000 model adds to the brand’s challenges in remaining competitive and accessible.
