Why Ford’s CEO Fears China’s Affordable EV Market
Doug McIntyre discusses Ford CEO Jim Farley’s concern over China’s electric vehicle market. After testing Chinese EVs, Farley found them to be of excellent quality but significantly cheaper than their American counterparts. With Chinese EVs priced as low as $10,000, Farley fears that if U.S. tariffs on Chinese imports are dropped, Ford will struggle to compete in the market.
