Wildfire Smoke Becoming a Permanent Threat to America

Douglas McIntyre, Editor-in-Chief at Climate Crisis 24/7, reports that more than 700 wildfires are currently burning across Canada, with the majority out of control. According to The Guardian and Canadian authorities, these fires are sending hazardous smoke into the U.S., affecting cities from Minneapolis to Baltimore. McIntyre also highlights a major wildfire in the Grand Canyon, which has already scorched nearly 150,000 acres. He warns that recurring wildfires in both Canada and the U.S. will continue to impact air quality across North America for years to come.
