Call it Horse sense: Ford Slashes Mustang Mach-E Prices in bid to Spur EV Sales

The move follows unsuccessful attempts to boost sales with zero percent financing over seventy-two months. But Ford’s difficulties extend beyond the Mach-E to other EV models, such as the F-150 Lightning, the electric version of the popular F-series pickup truck. The company’s strategy reflects a traditional approach in the automotive industry: when sales struggle: either financing options are improved, or prices are reduced to attract buyers. Ford has now done both.
