While northern states like Vermont and Maine are used to snowfall at this time of the year, snow fell as far south as Pennsylvania and New Jersey. A closer look at the data reveals which cities got the most.

To determine the cities that got the most snow this weekend, Climate Crisis 247 reviewed National Gridded Snowfall Analysis estimates from the National Operational Hydrologic Remote Sensing Center of the NOAA. Cities were ranked based on the total amount of snow that fell in the 48 hours from April 12 to 13, 2025. Only cities with at least 2,500 residents were considered.
