Wars in areas that produce large amounts of oil almost always drive up crude prices. This is because of oil production and shipping. The current Middle East conflict has virtually shut down use of the Suez Canal, which services oil tankers. When oil goes above $100, green energy becomes more attractive. Douglas A.
