Global Greenhouse Gases Surge

The hope that lowering emissions from countries and large fossil fuel companies could stop the growth in greenhouse gases has just about ended. This is a stunning loss for those who hoped global temperatures would no longer rise.
*The World Of Greenhouse Gas
According to Axios, “Global carbon dioxide concentrations reached record levels in 2023, with a surge of 11.4% during the past two decades alone, a new UN report finds.” Renewable energy installations have contributed little to an improvement. Alternative energy sources are not growing fast enough, nor are they well-funded
As forests disappear, they can no longer convert CO2. Axios adds that CO2 levels are where they were four million years ago when the world was much warmer.
Energy Economy
The largest energy sources, coal, and oil, are among the major contributors. Fossil fuel companies are modestly regulated, and they barely exist in countries such as India.
The analysis did not mention that the negative effects on humans will continue to grow. These include rising levels of drought, ocean storms, floods, and extreme heat. In the last year, there have been signs that have worsened, and that will continue.
