The World Is Running Out Of Money To Save The Climate, According To Some Experts

A member of the British parliament said his party believes his country has enough money to save the planet. It is better to spend the money elsewhere. If so, the UK will mostly walk away from its contributions to slow global warming. Better to spend the money in areas that the government can affect.
The Trump Administration has withdrawn from all global climate initiatives and repealed many environmentally friendly regulations. Although it has not been said as much, the money it will save is part of the argument. Money spent on energy in the US will be primarily on fossil fuels exploration and production. A lack of capital and hostility by the administration has crippled wind and solar.
Some of the world’s largest nations have not even attempted to afford green support. Their investments have always been low. India is at the top of that list.
Only China can claim to have regularly invested large sums in green initiatives and continues to do so. However, it remains the world’s largest polluter.
One argument for a cutback in green investments is that it is too late. That is what UK politicians are saying.
