It Will Still Be 100°F In These 11 Cities This Weekend

While most of the country is settling into cooler autumn weather this weekend, some cities are still grappling with summer-like extremes.

In 11 cities, temperatures will surpass 100°F this weekend. In one major city, temperatures are forecast to reach as high as 102°F. A closer look at the data reveals the cities facing triple-digit temperatures this weekend.

To determine the cities where it will be 100°F this weekend, Climate Crisis 247 reviewed data on temperature forecasts from the NOAA’s National Digital Forecast Database. Cities were ranked based on maximum forecast temperature for September 4, 2025. Only cities with at least 10,000 residents were considered. Population data is from the U.S. Census Bureau.
