Scientists Face Real Danger To Prove Global Warming

A small group of scientists are willing to sit in a chamber the inside of which is heated to over 104 degrees F and sit there for as many as three days. They have done so to explore the effects of extreme heat on the body, and the mind.

The reason for the test is that in 2021, a heatwave killed hundreds of Canadians. How bad would the effects on large populations be if this happened again?

One scientist found the effects were not terrible after the first day. One the second day, according to Bloomberg, his internal temperature neared 104 degrees which is extremely dangerous. By the third day, he had lost 10 pounds.

500,000 People Die

The news service points out that about 500,000 people die from extreme heat each year. As global warming makes the world hotter most years, compared to the year before, this number will rise. It has already reached 120 degrees for several days in India, Iran, and Kuwait. In some cases, this is mitigated by air conditioning, but the impoverished populations in these regions do not have that. They also have nowhere to move that is cooler.

Medically, the danger is the heat stored by the body. As the body gets hotter, it leads to heat stroke. If the body is not cooled, it leads to death.

The experiments only include a few dozen scientists, but the results show that millions, if not tens of millions of people are in danger as the world gets much hotter.
