Ford had hoped these EVs would secure its place as a major player against Tesla in the U.S., but recent sales declines indicate otherwise. Although the Mustang Mach-E hasn’t yet faced production cuts, it’s being sold with steep incentives, including 0% financing, which negatively impacts Ford’s profit margins.
