Boulder, Colorado Gets Greenlight to Sue Exxon

The city alleges that Exxon knowingly concealed the environmental dangers of pollution for decades and failed to act. If successful, this case could open the floodgates for similar legal action across the U.S., much like the historic lawsuits that led to Big Tobacco’s $206 billion settlement.
