Brrr, what a (sales) Drag. Yup, It’s not only you who Dreads Winter, But so do EVs.
As winter approaches, electric vehicles face significant challenges, especially those being driven in cold climates. That’s because batteries in EVs hold less charge in freezing temperatures, reducing their range and slowing charging times, adding to concerns such as limited range, charging infrastructure, and higher maintenance costs. Meanwhile, the auto industry is moving slowly on a solution, making consumers in colder regions, such as Canada and the northern U.S., more hesitant to purchase the non-polluting vehicles.
