Year in Review: Global Coal Demand Set to Reach 8.7B Tons by end of the 2024

Douglas McIntyre, editor-in-chief of Climate Crisis 24/7, reports that global coal demand is expected to reach 8.7 billion tons by the end of 2024, driven largely by China and India. This growing demand for coal poses a major challenge for global climate efforts.
