EV Sales Will Stay Low Due to Range Anxiety and Charging Infrastructure Issues
EV sales are projected to remain low through the end of the year, according to research by Cox Automotive. The decline is attributed to two main factors: range anxiety and inadequate charging infrastructure. Many potential buyers doubt that EVs can travel more than 300 miles on a single charge, a concern for long-distance drivers. Additionally, the lack of charging stations, especially outside major cities, poses a significant challenge. Until these issues are resolved, the outlook for EV sales is unlikely to improve.
