Human-Caused Climate Change Now Top Threat to U.S. Species

Douglas McIntyre, Editor-in-Chief at Climate Crisis 24/7, reports on a groundbreaking study highlighting that human-caused climate change has now become the greatest threat to imperiled species in the U.S., surpassing habitat loss, pollution, and invasive species. The research, led by Talia Niederman and colleagues from the Defenders of Wildlife, analyzed 2,766 species listed under the Endangered Species Act, revealing climate change as the top threat, alongside land and sea usage, species over-exploitation, pollution, and invasive species.
