Net zero: a great Objective, but could it lead to a worldwide Economic Disaster?
Net zero pollution goals may come with the risk economic collapse, with a transition away from key industries like gasoline-powered cars, coal and other dirty industries possibly leading to mass unemployment, some economists say. In addition, there is the issue of insufficient infrastructure in place, particularly in the form of flexible grid networks, for renewable energy to take over.
