Not again! Tampa area set for another hurricane hit as Cat. 4 Milton closes in
Hurricane Milton is expected to make landfall near Tampa, Fla., an area already devastated by Hurricane Helene. With the ground saturated and parts of the city and surrounding still underwater, the whirling weather system is expected to bring severe storm surges, wind damage and heavy rain, with the devastation to an already vulnerable region expected to be counted in billions of dollars.
