Tesla’s 60,000 Superchargers Could Boost EV Adoption
Douglas McIntyre, Editor-in-Chief at Climate Crisis 24/7, reports that Tesla has surpassed 60,000 Superchargers worldwide, with some capable of recharging 200 miles of range in just 15 minutes. While this expansion helps alleviate EV charging concerns, most of the stations are concentrated in major cities, particularly on the West Coast. Without a fully developed nationwide network, long-distance travel remains a challenge for EV owners, which could slow broader adoption.
