Tiny but Mighty: How Small SUVs Are Leading the way in Climate-Friendly Cars
Douglas McIntyre, editor-in-chief of Climate Crisis 24/7, discusses findings from The Washington Post that highlight the evolution of small SUVs into the most climate-friendly vehicles in America. In part, this is due to the growing availability of EV options in this category, on top of which has been a shift in consumer preference from sedans to crossovers and SUVs, including those of Tesla. McIntyre also predicts that sedans could be the next category to fully embrace electrification, further advancing sustainable transportation.
