US Faces Record-Breaking Wildfire Season in 2025

Douglas McIntyre, Editor-in-Chief at Climate Crisis 24/7, shares an update on severe wildfires in the US. According to AccuWeather, 2025 could see between 7 to 9 million acres burned, with around 60,000 to 70,000 fires expected across the country. The ongoing drought in the western US is predicted to fuel much of the fire activity, including a significant number of fires in California.
