Yup, Ohio is the best Place in the U.S. to Avoid the Worst of Climate Change
A study from Realtor.com reveals that several Ohio cities — including Akron, Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati and Dayton — are among the safest places in the U.S. to avoid the worst impacts of global warming, with these areas at low risk for climate-related disasters such as flooding, hurricanes, tornadoes and hailstorms. Although the Buckeye State has seven of the top-ten cities on the list, the trend extends to other northern regions, including South Dakota, Minnesota, Michigan and Buffalo.
