Wildfires Have Burned 2.5 Million Acres This year

According to the National Interagency Fire Center, wildfires have consumed 2.5 million acres so far this year. This is the largest in the last 10 years for the period that started January 1. Drought has moved to the Southeast, which is a primary reason.
