Will EVs become The Majority of Car Sales by 2035? No Way And Here’s Why
Doug McIntyre discusses the challenges facing the prediction that 58% of all U.S. car sales will be electric vehicles (EVs) by 2035, up from the current 8%. While improvements in EV batteries, increased charging stations, and lower prices are expected, McIntyre highlights several obstacles, including vandalism of charging stations, rapid tire wear due to EV torque, and reduced battery efficiency in cold weather. He remains skeptical about these issues being resolved and doubts that public perception will shift quickly enough to meet the projected sales target.
