Will Oil Companies Be Forced To Pay Tremendous Taxes

Some legislators want oil companies to pay taxes on a great deal of the profits they have earned recently. The argument is that they did nothing to get the increase. The Middle East war is the sole trigger. If the money does come in, does to go toward the deficit, or green energy?
