More than two dozen Florida cities are forecast to receive at least 1.5 inches of rain, while several could see more than three inches in just 72 hours. Major cities like Palm Bay and Port St. Lucie could see wind gusts greater than 20 miles per hour. A closer look at the data reveals the cities where a tropical disturbance will bring the most rain this week.
To determine the cities that will get the most rain this week, Climate Crisis 247 reviewed precipitation forecast data from the NOAA’s National Digital Forecast Database. Cities were ranked based on forecast cumulative rainfall for the period October 6 to 8, 2025. Only cities with at least 50,000 residents were considered.
