Gas Prices Race Toward Memorial Day Record, Major Survey Shows

GasBuddy tracks prices at up to 150,000 stations. Its latest research shows gas prices will be just under $4.50 on Memorial Day. That is up from $3.18 three months ago. Despite this, 52% of Americans plan to travel more than two hours by car over the period. 38% plan to travel more than 5 hours. Unfortunately, the study shows many people will dip into savings to afford the trips.
