Miami May Be unlivable in the Future Due To Climate Change
Douglas McIntyre, Editor-in-Chief at Climate Crisis 24/7, shares findings from a new Policygenius study ranking Miami as one of the ten worst U.S. cities to live in during climate change. Known for its vulnerability to hurricanes, Miami is also experiencing rare heat waves and faces projections that up to 60% of the city could be underwater by 2060. McIntyre warns that long-term habitability in the region is in serious jeopardy, potentially forcing future migration northward.
