Tornadoes Tear Across The Midwest

It is the end of tornado season, and it will end with a bang. Over 150 million people are potentially in the path of tornadoes, hail, and thunderstorms.

According to Accuweather. Violent storms and long-lived tornadoes could hit the central and eastern U.S. through the weekend, bringing widespread damage, power outages, and dangerous travel conditions.

Tornados can travel for miles.

Financial Damage

Among the damage from these storms is what comes after them. During the storms, property and lives can be destroyed. After that, infrastructure can be damaged for months. Just as critical, insurance rates have soared. In L, because of wildfires, insurance rates have risen 17% on top of 20% last year.

Hurricanes Milton and Helene destroyed billions of dollars, and rates have risen sharply as well.

This week’s hurricane is a result of Global warming. Its effects are both dangerous and expensive, and there appears to be no cap on either.
