Japan Temperatures Rise To 107 Degree Record

There were several all time high temperatures set in Europe this summer. This happened as far south as Greece and as far north as Sweden. The figure reached 110 degrees F in Greece. Not to be left out, Tokyo posted an all time record of 107 degrees. Although it may not completely make the argument for global warming ,records are being set across most of the continents this summer.
Summer temperatures in Tokyo virtually never top 90 degrees. Japan is one of the few nations with a high rate of air conditioning, The figure is about 85%. However, the AC units are usually very small and usually cool only one room.
Health Risks
The Japanese will need to deal with the routine problems that go with extremely high heat. Among others, this includes health dangers. People who are old, very young, and those with health preconditions like heart disease often end up in emergency rooms, which is expensive for the healthcare system.
Extreme heat also shuts down some industries. In large cities, the most broadly affected is construction. Throughout most of the remainder of the nation, it is agriculture.
