$7 Billion in Rooftop Solar Grants Thrown Out
Douglas McIntyre, Editor-in-Chief at Climate Crisis 24/7, reports that the Trump administration is moving to cancel $7 billion in rooftop solar grants meant to benefit low- and middle-income households. According to The Washington Post, the EPA plans to send termination notices to 60 recipients across 49 states under the recently launched Solar for All program. With most of the funds unspent, the administration appears poised to withdraw critical support for clean energy adoption in underserved communities.
