Electricity Costs Drive Winter Energy Bills
The EIA expects energy costs to drop this winter, according to their Winter Fuels Outlook 2025/2026. The exception is electricity costs, which are expected to rise 4% and much higher in much of the nation. Oil and gas prices will drop because crude oil prices have fallen.
