Climate Causes Severe Mental Problems
Research published in Lancet Neurology titled “Climate change and disorders of the nervous system “points out that “evidence suggests that the incidence, prevalence, and severity of many nervous system conditions (eg, stroke, neurological infections, and some mental health disorders) can be affected by climate change.”

Climatecrisis247 believes this is one of many studies about the link between climate change and disease and illnesses. Most cover physical effects like heat stroke, malnutrition, and thirst. The focus may be moving toward the brain and mental issues.
Extreme Temperatures And Human Health
The authors wrote, “The data show broad and complex adverse effects, especially of temperature extremes to which people are unaccustomed and wide diurnal temperature fluctuations.” This is, of course, the most significant issue. Large groups of people, who could number hundreds of millions, have lived in a relatively constant environment for centuries. Then, over less than a decade, that environment changes rapidly, almost always for the worse.
They also point out, “Protective measures might be possible through local forecasting.” This may be the Holy Grail of climate scientists, pinpointing weather problems in very small areas in near real-time. However, the ability to do that could be years away.
