Expect At Least 4 Deadly Hurricanes in 2025, According to One Forecasting Report
Douglas McIntyre, Editor-in-Chief at Climate Crisis 24/7, reports that Colorado State University is forecasting at least four major hurricanes in the upcoming season. These storms—classified as Category 3, 4, or 5—are expected to cause widespread damage, similar to recent hurricanes Helene and Milton. McIntyre warns that while early forecasts can raise awareness, they offer little comfort to communities repeatedly battered by increasingly powerful and frequent storms driven by climate change.
