Toyota’s Green Miracle Engine
Toyota has created a revolutionary engine that should sharply cut car emissions. It is configured so that it does not have to be an EV to do so. According to Reuters, “Toyota Motor showcased next-generation engines on Tuesday that can be used in cars as varied as hybrids and those running on biofuel, as it targets tougher emissions standards and doubles down on its strategy of selling more than just EVs.”
Climate News –Drought Is Gone In California
Toyota disguised itself by sticking to hybrids during the brief EV revolutions. While companies like GM and Ford poured billions into EV production, Toyota was widely criticized for not joining. As EV sales faltered, Ford was in financial trouble and pulled back from EVs almost completely.
Green Without EVs
Toyota’s taking another green step forward is impressive as it continues to avoid the idea that EVs will become popular soon. This also means that Toyota has no plans to compete with very low-priced Chinese EV companies.
Climatecrisis247 believes this is a trend that large car manufacturers must follow. If they want to lower emissions while the public’s interest in EVs cools, alternative engines will be vital to decreasing the effect transportation has on climate change.
