The Hottest Place In The World Today 119 Degrees

It is 119 degrees F at the weather station Joba, which sits on the far western side of Oman.
Part of Oman has average high temperatures of over 100 degrees F in .May, June, and July.
According to forecasts by the Climate Change Knowledge Portal, these heat waves are expected to worsen in the middle of the century. Oman had a similar heat wave in May of last year.
Floods As Well
Ironically, northern Oman was hit by the heavy rains that battered Dubai, causing damage and several deaths.
Weather trends in Oman remind us of how quickly the climate has changed throughout the year. The heatwaves in the area have worsened, and in a part of the world where it barely rains, it is suddenly flooded.
