America’s Airlines Are Shutting down

Spirit Airlines is out of business, to some extent, due to fuel costs. That fuel has risen by 82% in the past three months. Experts in Europe say the region will be out of fuel in five weeks. Quietly, airlines are cutting routes. The number of routes is rising, and has started to include big cities. Budget carriers, running on small margins, will be the first to go.
