Electric Vehicles Now More Eco-Friendly in Nearly All U.S. Regions
Douglas McIntyre, Editor-in-Chief at Climate Crisis 24/7, shares findings from the Union of Concerned Scientists revealing that 97% of Americans now live in areas where driving an EV emits less carbon than a high-efficiency gasoline car. This marks a major improvement from just 45% a few years ago. The shift is largely due to expanded charging infrastructure, making EVs a more practical and environmentally beneficial option across the U.S.
