The 1,020 hp Tesla
Tesla’s fastest car, the Model S Plaid, produces 1,020 hp, which is about 300 hp more than the highest-hp cars from gas-powered manufacturers.
The Plaid from 0 to 60 in 1.99 seconds. Only a small handful of cars are faster–the Koenigsegg Gemera (1.9 Seconds), the Lucid Air Sapphire (1.89 Seconds), the. Rimac Nevera – (1.74 Seconds) and Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 – (1.66 Seconds).
Tesla Plaid
The Tesla Plaid has a base price of $89,380. The Rimac Nevera’s is $3 million. The Gemera’s is $1.6 million. Only the Dodge carries a reasonable price of $96,666.
According to Car Journal, “You get the most out of the “Plaid” experience when doing a launch with Drag-Strip-Mode. This mode heats the battery and the drive unit to the ideal operating temperature for sporty acceleration.”
