Forecasters Expect Abnormally Warm Spring

“Long-range experts say early spring warmth will send temperatures climbing well above the historical average across much of the central and southern United States this year, the organization’s experts said.
On the other hand, “winterlike temperatures could linger well into the spring season in parts of the interior Northeast, Great Lakes and the Northwest.”
Hot In El Paso
The warmest temperatures are expected to be in the region from Los Angeles to Denver and across Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida. Unusually hot weather is expected in the area around El Paso which is among the hottest, driest places in America. Cold air is expected from Minneapolis to Boston.
It will not be until June when we know if any of this is true.
