Miami Weather: Temperatures Go Back To Normal
After months of hurricanes and hotter-than-normal temperatures, which included the entire hurricane season, Florida’s weather has returned to “normal.” There is a question as to whether this will remain the case, but there is a chance hurricane season could be extended beyond its traditional end point of November 30.
*Miami 2024 Weather
Temperatures are expected to run at 73 to 76 degrees F highs this week and the following week. The normal time of year for this is an average high of 76 in December. Even the level of rain, so far, indicates a typical pattern.
This observation would only be meaningful for the exceptional nature of the year. The first ten months of the year were when insurance rates were driven up. They are the period of record hurricane damage. A normal weather period would, at this point, be considered “abnormal.”
What Is Normal Weather?
These anomalies, which are no longer anomalies, have happened throughout the nation in 2024. Tornado season started earlier than expected because of temperatures higher than expected. Part of the California coast was inundated with storms from the Pacific. These were not part of a weather pattern either.
In the fall, extreme drought was not expected in West Virginia and southern Ohio. These were unprecedented. The drought has almost disappeared from these areas recently.
Perhaps the US weather has gotten back to normal.
